Res/Title is strongly committed to protecting the security of its customer’s personal information. With this goal in mind, Res/Title, Inc. maintains a SOC-2 certification to ensure our policy and procedures meet the highest security requirements in the industry. This includes implementing safeguards particular to the provisions of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) as well as the American Land Title Association’s Best Practices pillars. These requirements include but are not limited to:
1) Ensuring the security and confidentiality of customer records any information;
2) Protecting against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of such records; and
3) Protecting against unauthorized access to or use of such records or information which could result in substantial harm or inconvenience to any customer.
Res/Title’s policies to meet these requirements are outlined in our Information Security Policy manual which is updated on a continual basis. The basis for these policies are outlined below.
