James V. Paolino, Esq.

Chief Executive Officer,
Commercial Division 

Jim Paolino, Esq. founded Res/Title in 1994. With an emphasis on streamlining the closing process for his clients, he quickly grew the company from one office in Mansfield, Massachusetts to the national agency it has become today. With the day to day operations now handled by the rest of the leadership team, Jim is able to focus his time on the company’s growth and development. His emphasis in recent years has been on the successful development of Res/Title’s Commercial Division and its unprecedented “One Stop Shop” workflow for lenders. It now features its own team of paralegals; first-in-the-nation Commercial Calculator, and an emphasis on the SBA 504 and 7A programs.

Jim holds his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and is a Boston College alumnus. Prior to Res/Title’s launch, he practiced law as a Partner with Wallick & Paolino for ten years.  Jim is a member of the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut bar. He is also a title agent in approximately thirty (30) states.

Proudly serving on the Board for St Mary’s Home for Children, our flagship charity, Jim plays a large role in the marketing and development for the charity in the local community.  In his relaxation time, Jim is an avid boater and enjoys spending the summer months on the New England waters.

Regina Braga, MBA.

Chief Operations Officer


Chief Operations Officer, Regina Braga, MBA has been at Res/Title since 2004.  Her mastery of our day-to-day operations and ability to streamline workflow serves her well in her role. An expert problem solver, Regina has held every position in the Admin Department prior to COO. She focuses on compliance, security, SOC Audits, licensing and state by state specific guidelines as well as the company’s growth by overseeing the Business Development Team.

In addition, Regina’s overall passion for the company makes her a strong leader. The team oriented environment and work-life balance culture is what attracted her to this company. As the Brainchild of our “End of the Month for a Cause” Program, she strives to create a positive outlook on our industry’s busiest time by choosing a staff member to profile and a monthly charity to fundraise for. Regina also participates in the Alzheimer’s Association’s annual walks and is passionate about supporting the Gloria Gemma Fund each October.

Regina received her Masters of Business Administration from University of Rhode Island and her undergrad in U.S. History from Stonehill College.   

At home, Regina is a dedicated Mom who can be found chauffeuring her two daughters to their activities or enjoying adventures with her family.  

National Desk Attorneys

Jennifer Daniel, Esq.

MA State Manager 

As our Massachusetts State Managing Attorney, Jennifer Daniel, Esq. works to ensure an efficient closing- from the Purchase and Sales Negotiation through Closing.  Through her experience at Res/Title, she has a vast amount of title knowledge not only in Massachusetts but across the country. As a caring and conscientious person, she receives the most compliments on her responsiveness to both clients and lenders combined. Jen’s favorite part of her job is helping clients through the closing process as a source of knowledge and comfort.

An alumna of New England Law, Jen started off as a paralegal at Res/Title while studying for the Bar and becoming an attorney.  Her prior experience makes her familiar with how the paralegal’s job works. She also holds an undergrad degree in History and Education from Worcester State University.  She has been at Res/Title since 2010.

Outside of work Jen spends time with her husband and their two-year-old daughter, and enjoys reading in her free time.  Jen is also a trained CASA volunteer, using her knowledge as an attorney to make a life-changing difference for children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Steve Cunha, Esq.

In-House Title Attorney

Steve Cunha, Esq., is our newest National Title Attorney. He joins our team with 11+ years of experience in law with a primary focus on the Real Estate and Construction Industry. He will be using his expertise on closing issues nationwide and is the dedicated attorney contact in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Steve is thrilled to join the Res/Title team where there is a sense of teamwork, professionalism and a dedication to innovation in the field of real estate.

Steve is a graduate from the North Eastern School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island, Summa Cum Laude.  During law school, Steve interned at Greater Boston Legal Services, the Massachusetts Court of appeals as a clerk, and One Laptop Per Child; a non-profit group. Since graduating he has worked at a number of firms focusing on bankruptcy, real estate and construction law.

Steve is a Rhode Island native of Portuguese descent who currently lives in Providence with his wife, two-year-old daughter and dog, Roscoe. He is an avid collector of comic books and is starting a vinyl record collection. He loves to read science fiction and historical biographies and before having a child, Steve enjoyed playing music with friends, fishing and writing.  Now he spends his free time at imaginary tea parties, reading up on the many adventures of Peppa Pig, dancing to the Wiggles and on occasion resting his eyes.

Dena Robinson

Closing Manager,
Residential Division

Our Closings Manager, Dena Robinson, oversees all aspects of the closing process at Res/Title with an additional focus on our Residential closing division.  As a calm, level-headed leader, she strives to make her team’s workflow easier, maintain a positive relationship with vendors, and help homebuyers through the exciting closing process.  Her expertise on our internal task management systems helps maintain the transparency and oversight needed to ensure all files are moving along efficiently.

With 23 years at Res/Title, Dena’s seen it all. Her knowledge and experience allows her to have strong problem-solving skills.  Prior to her current managing role, she’s held every position in her department.

Dena is a graduate from Katherine Gibbs College where she studied Legal Secretarial Science.  She worked for a general attorney firm before finding her niche in real estate here at Res/Title.

In her free time, Dena enjoys camping and snowmobiling with her husband and daughter.

Meghan Conners

Title Operations 

Our Title Operations Manager, Meghan Conners, oversees Res/Title’s in house title team and ensures that all of our title work meets our superior turn time expectations.  Her team is also responsible for the efficient delivery of recordables and policies to our clients. Meghan’s title expertise and ability to recall state specific nuances make her a huge asset to our team.  Combined with her laid back level-headed personality, she is a skilled problem solver and an approachable resource for her team. She prides herself on being able to over-deliver and complete tasks more rapidly than expected.

Meghan’s experience in the industry spawned during a summer internship at an attorney’s office. She now has 15+ years of experience in the industry and has been at Res/Title since 2012. Prior to holding this manager position, she’s worked as a paralegal and in the title and clearing department.

Meghan enjoys bowling and Marvel Superhero movies.  In her free time, you can find her spending time with her dogs and family.

Carol Leca

Commercial Division

Carol leads our Commercial Division by overseeing the closing process for all of our commercial loans and managing the workflow within her team.  She has built very strong relationships with Res/Title’s client base as their dedicated point of contact. From prepping files for closing, preparing closing documents or scheduling closings to handling post-closing follow up, Carol succeeds in expediting work.

Carols’s career began at an attorney office doing title work before joining our team in 2001.  Devoted to raising her three boys at the time, she started off as a part-time paralegal in the post-closing department.  During her 18+ year tenure she grew to her current role. Managing commercial files can be more complex than residential, which Carol finds rewarding. She enjoys how knowledgeable the commercial clients are to work with and assisting new clients through the closing process.

Thriving in Res/Title’s close-knit team environment, she is passionate about the company. She is a member of the Rhode Island Blue Star Mom’s and Homes to Heroes Program, working to send packages to troops overseas. In her freetime, she enjoys reading and playing with her grandchildren.


Business Development Team Leaders

Brooke Solomon

National Sales  Manager

Our National Sales Manager, Brooke Solomon focuses on business growth in some of Res/Title’s top states including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the Mid-Atlantic region. Brooke enjoys being a part of a dedicated team here at Res/Title, where everyone works together to conduct a successful closing. She’s motivated to build up Res/Title’s presence throughout the country and is always coming up with new and creative ways to interact with her clients.

 Brooke has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Hartford. She has been a member of our team since 2012, with 16+ years of experience in the industry including a prior Mortgage Associate. She is also a member of the Women’s Power Networking group.

 At home, Brooke spends her time with her daughter, whether it’s her attending ice skating practice or volunteering for school events. She participates in the Congenital Heart Walk annually to fundraise for the cause with her family.

Paul McRae

Commercial & Residential Development 

As a Business Development Leader with Res/Title, Paul McRae utilizes his 20+ year tenure in the industry to increase business in both the Residential and Commercial markets.  He prides himself on his 24/7 accessibility; clients will rarely be sent to his voicemail. He was drawn to Res/Title’s national footprint to handle deals beyond his state.

Connecting people and being the main point of contact on a large pipeline of transactions is just a few of his strong-points. Prior to Res/Title he gained experience on both the mortgage sales and title agent side of the real estate transaction. This combined industry knowledge makes him a strong resource during every closing.

His ability to think creatively and outside the box makes him a key asset to our Marketing team.  He received a “2017 Top 10 in Title Insurance Growth” award from the state of Massachusetts and a medal from the Human Society for saving a life from drowning.

Paul enjoys networking, podcasting, and spending time with his family.

Laura Paolino

Sales Development Manager

Our newest addition to the Business Development team is our Sales Development Manager. In this role, Laura Paolino primarily focuses on lead management, research and development. She maintains our CRM platforms, tracks new leads and analyzes sales reports. She also assists with marketing for both the Residential and Commercial Division. If that’s not impressive enough, Laura is a skilled copy writer applying her editing skills to sales emails, presentations and more.  Her strong communication and organization skills make her an asset to our team.

Laura has a B.S. from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Prior to Res/Title, she worked in Digital Ad Sales in New York City.

Outside of work, Laura’s travel bug never stops itching. She’s been to 5 countries in 2019 and 35 states total. You can find her skiing in the winter and on the ocean in the summer.

Kate Hurd

Marketing Director

Kate Hurd has held the Marketing Director position since 2017 and is responsible for Res/Title’s branding profile and industry exposure.  Her main area of focus is the company’s creative direction, from designing emails, printed collateral, video and even our mascot “Chloe the Closer.” She also works on creating email and social media campaigns, ordering promotional materials and assisting with lead management.  Kate’s favorite part of her job is working with our talented team to bring their marketing ideas to life.

Kate graduated with a B.A. in Art and Design from Rhode Island College, where she worked at Student Activities Marketing to produce advertising for the college. She is currently a member of the Millennial RI Networking Group.

When she’s not making Res/Title’s marketing materials, she creates digital artwork for friends and family, such as party or wedding invitations. She is passionate about healthy eating, plays ukulele and spends her summers boating with her family.
